The AC home storage system, the Tesla Powerwall, relies on a slim design and high energy density. With the integrated AC inverter, the power storage is ideal for retrofitting, but also for new PV systems. Installation is plug and play. This means that the power storage unit can be installed and put into operation in just a few hours. A total of up to 10 Powerwalls can be connected to each other.
In addition, thanks to the Backup Gateway 2, every Tesla Powerwall has emergency power capability and automatically switches to backup mode in the event of a power failure.
The power generation of the photovoltaic system and the current consumption of the house can be easily monitored in real time with the Tesla Mobile App. Another feature of the Tesla Mobile App is setting a backup/emergency power reserve. The Tesla Powerwall owner thus has the option of flexibly adjusting the backup reserve on his mobile device at any time.

The Tesla Pros app helps you to get the Powerwall up and running quickly and easily. Tesla Pros canhere(for IOS and Android systems) can be downloaded or found in the Apple Store. Google Play will follow soon.
The Tesla Mobile App can be downloaded for free from the Apple Store and Google Play Store. The installation of the monitoring app is designed for mobile devices and tablets.
Among other things, the energy flow is illustrated in the Tesla app. This flow of energy shows everything that happens in the house: electricity generation by the photovoltaic system, electricity flow to or from the Powerwall and the electricity fed into or taken from the grid. The values of the energy flow diagram are displayed in real time.
The history of the current flow can also be viewed using the Tesla Mobile App. To do this, any power source (photovoltaic, power wall or power grid) can be selected and a specific period of time can be called up in the bar graph that appears.
