The newly developed SMA Sunny Boy 1.5 The inverter enables faster installation and at the same time simple commissioning thanks to the new web interface . Connection to the Internet is via W-Lan or Ethernet connection . This newly developed web-based interface enables configuration using a smartphone or the classic way on a laptop. The 70 percent curtailment required in Germany or even the 0 percent curtailment is ensured by direct communication with the installation of the SMA Energy Meter or SMA Home Manager 2.0.

The SMA inverter weighs only 9.2 kg and is therefore lightweight.
